1. Seattle, Washington, DC, Chicago, NYC or Telecommuting Data Privacy Attorney (Law Firm, Temporary)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a data privacy attorney to ideally work in the Seattle, Washington DC or Chicago office of a large international law firm. Attorneys who would work in the New York City of the firm or on a telecommuting basis will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in privacy and data security and related technology transactions matters. More specifically, qualified candidates will have experience negotiating privacy and data security terms in vendor contracts (warranties, limitation on liability, indemnification), IT outsourcing or cloud agreements. CIPP certification is preferred. This is a temporary position that can be done on apart-time basis (preferably 20-25 hours/week). Full-time (40 hours/week) candidates will also be entertained. This role is expected to last through the end of the year. Interviews will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified.

Boston Products Liability Litigators (Law Firm, Temp-to-Perm)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking products liability litigation attorneys with at least five years of experience to work in the Boston office of an international law firm. Ideal candidates will have pharmaceutical, medical device or products liability litigation experience working as an associate at a large law firm and also possess a science background, strong writing skills, and proficiency with Relativity software. Attorneys hired for this role will be assisting on products liability litigation in the pharmaceutical and medical device areas, specifically assisting with drafting custodial file memoranda, developing and vetting expert witnesses, and researching and drafting motions. This is a full-time role that will last approximately one year with the possibility of extension. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required. Interviews will begin as soon as appropriate candidates are identified and the ideal start date for the role is September.

 

3. Los Angeles or San Francisco Environmental Law Associate (Law Firm, Direct Hire)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an environmental law associate to work in the Los Angeles or San Francisco office of a n inter national law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in California environmental law, with an emphasis on air, water, and waste regulatory compliance; permitting and enforcement issues; and familiarity with California's regulatory agencies. Admission to the California Bar is required. This is a permanent partner-track associate position that requires 2000 billable hours.

 

4. Los Angeles or San Francisco Environmental Law Attorney (Law Firm, Direct Hire)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an environmental law attorney to work in the Los Angeles or San Francisco office of an international law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in California environmental law, with an emphasis on air, water, and waste regulatory compliance; permitting and enforcement issues; and familiarity with California's regulatory agencies. Admission to the California Bar is required. This is a permanent off-track position that requires 1800 billable hours.

 

5.San Francisco Employment Litigation Attorney (Law Firm, Direct Hire)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an employment litigation attorney to work as a salaried staff attorney in the San Francisco office of an international law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of employment litigation experience in California, including experience taking and defending depositions and handling hearings. Trial or arbitration experience is a plus. The qualified candidate will handle as part of a team or, in some cases, lead employment litigation matters in state and federal court and arbitration. This is a permanent, direct-hire opening with an expected billable hours goal of 1200 hours.Partial telecommuting is an option for the right candidate.Interviews will begin as soon as appropriate candidates are identified.Admission to the California Bar is required.

 

6. Boston Corporate and Securities Attorney (Law Firm, Temporary)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an associate to work with the corporate and securities practice group in the Boston office of a large national law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experienceexperience with M&A, venture capital, and emerging technology companies. This is a full-time role that will last through the end of 2017, with the possibility of an extension. Interviews will begin as soon as appropriate candidates are identified. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.

 

7. Philadelphia Area Transactional Attorney (Law Firm, Temporary)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a transactional associate to work with the corporate and securities practice group in the Philadelphia office of a large national law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experiencewithsophisticated M&A, private equity, venture capital and general corporate transactions, including an expansive emerging growth practice. This is a full-time role that will last through the end of 2017, with the possibility of an extension. Interviews will begin as soon as appropriate candidates are identified. Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required.

 

8. Philadelphia Area Capital Markets Attorney (Law Firm, Temporary)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a capital markets associate to work with the corporate and securities practice group in the Philadelphia area officeof a large national law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years ofexperience insophisticated capital markets/securities and general corporate transactions.This is a full-time role that will last through the end of 2017, with the possibility of an extension.
