1. Dallas Technology Transactions Attorney (In-House, Permanent)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a transactional attorney to work in the Dallas area office of a global financial services company. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in intellectual property, technology, and privacy matters, including global technology-related contracts, information security, data protection and privacy, and service and outsourcing arrangements. Candidates must have experience partnering with and supporting internal clients and business development initiatives to close deals and mitigate risk related to privacy and data security issues in connection with the firm's procurement of products and services. Prior experience working within financial services is preferred. 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements for technology-related goods and services, including SaaS, telecommuting, consulting, software licensing and hardware purchase agreements, statements of work, change orders, amendments, and NDAs; drafting and negotiating outsourcing transactions, including offshoring, ITO, and BPO; and addressing issues related to internet, digital, social media, and e-commerce in new products and services. This is a full-time, permanent position as a Vice President.

2.  Telecommuting Part-Time M&A Attorney (Law Firm, Episodic)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an M&A attorney to work on a remote basis for a boutique law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in M&A and contract matters. Prior experience with client management and supervising associates is required. Familiarity with registered investment advisors is a plus, including break-away brokers and the Protocol for Broker Recruiting. The qualified candidate will be responsible for running M&A and other deals, reviewing deal documents and other complex agreements, and acting as a client contact. This is a part-time, episodic engagement that will last indefinitely, and that is a good fit for a solo practitioner.
